Last year I spent 3 hours in an online queue to try and get tickets for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child play in London, I didn't manage to get any and was absolutely devastated because Harry Potter = LIFE! So when it was announced that there would be a book of the script of the play I was so excited and pre-ordered it as soon as it was available. It came in the post Sunday and I had read it by Monday. To me this book was amazing, and I think if you are a Harry Potter fan you will love it. It was so amazing to be able to read new Harry Potter content again, to be whisked back to the magical world of Hogwarts and to meet new characters as well! The story revolves around Harry and Ginny's child (Albus Severus Potter) and how he copes/feels being the son of Harry Potter, he becomes friends with Draco Malfoys child (Scorpius Malfoy) who I absolutely love, he was my favorite character in the book, and was so funny, I don't think the book would of been half as good without him.
I loved this book, it was a bit odd at first as it is written as a script for the play, but I soon got used to it. I found myself not able to put it down and was gutted when I came to the end. I would definitely recommend for any Harry Potter fans and I will definitely be reading it again at some point. Now fingers crossed I get to see the play at some point as I think it will be amazing on stage.
